The number of kids and teens with mental health needs keeps climbing. Families are waiting months to access care—while their children continue to struggle in class, slide into crisis, and in some cases, lose their lives.

Southern Indiana Mental Health Care facts:

  • 25% of all children live with a mental health condition.
  • There are significant barriers that are preventing kids from getting the care they need. This is due to (but not limited to):
    • Lack of mental health providers, resulting in long waitlists
    • Lacking the transportation to drive to and from appointments
    • Not having the flexible work schedule that is required to escort your child to weekly appointments
    • Not having the right insurance or being able to afford care
    • No access to Spanish speaking support
    • Student needs outweigh school districts' ability to support and caseloads are too high

Cartwheel Care removes all of the barriers listed above thereby creating a possibility that all of your students can receive care. Cartwheel's "wraparound support" model incorporates both the family, as well as the district, to provide an accessible and effective way for treatment.

Please join for an overview of Cartwheel, followed up with Q&A.
